My name is Justin Monge and I am a District Manager at ALDI. I currently oversee the daily operations of six ALDI locations in the Greater Chicago Area. I am a graduate of Clemson University with degrees in Business Management and Marketing, a minor in Financial Management and emphasis of International Management. I am from Peoria, Illinois, but moved to South Carolina to obtain my degree from Clemson University, and have now made my way back to the midwest to work with ALDI. Known for strategic problem-solving, I implement standard operating procedures that streamline processes and enhance the customer experience. Oversee the daily operations of six ALDI locations in the suburbs of Chicago. I directly lead six store managers and roughly 100 indirect reports to ensure an exceptional customer experience and maximize sales.

Lead and develop my team of store managers in order to help them drive profit and improve store conditions. Utilize Tableau and ALDI data platforms when identifying whitespace for potential sales opportunities with store management.
Directly involved with interviewing, on-boarding, developing, and terminating employees to ensure ample staffing at each location to serve our customers.

Operations Intern
Increased outbound productivity by 4.486% allowing the department to process 392,309 more packages per month. Directly managed 35+ employees and oversaw the exportation of approximately 200,000 packages daily. Engaged with Amazon Engineers to create three additional chutes on Flats Sorter allowing for an additional 96,256 packages to be processed per month.
Analyzed data in Excel to decrease package scan defect by 0.947%, saving 82,817 packages per month.

Led the outbound department in Flats Sorter efficiency across all shifts during my tenure as stand-in Area Manager.

Conducted a multivariable regression to identify which scan defects impact departmental inefficiencies the most.

Sales Intern
Work with the Director of Sales and Commercial Excellence to research potential opportunities for expansion within ATS and locate prospective clientele in order to organically grow our customer base.

Regularly attend sales and operations meetings to better understand the maintenance and manufacturing industry. Create high quality presentations on PowerPoint to be used as value propositions, business cases, and sales training.

Collapsed customer reference system into three separate pivot tables in Microsoft Excel to be used by sales team. Optimizes reference process and allows for an updated, relevant reference system for potential customers.

I'M A TRAVELER
I live to see the world. I find that there is no greater excitement than being able to dive into a new culture, completely different than that of the US, and fully experience their way of life. I have taken five years of Spanish and have made many memories traveling throughout Peru, Honduras, and Mexico. My most recent adventure was out to Europe to explore Greece, Italy, and Turkey. I also regularly take spontaneous road trips where I have hit the roads for New York City, Washington D.C., Chicago, Louisville, St. Louis, Asheville, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Nashville.
I'M AN ADVENTURER
I firmly believe that in order to make the most of any travel destination, you must experience everything it has to offer. This mindset has led to me jumping out of a plane over Moab, Utah, standing in Times Square for the 2020 New Years celebration, whitewater rafting on the Colorado River, hiking the Incan ruins of Machu Picchu, riding zip lines through Honduras and more. I like to give everything my best effort and a chance because I never want to miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime.
I'M A LEADER
Outside of traveling, I enjoy making plans with friends and meeting new people. I like to stay busy and am always trying to plan small trips or events with friends. This quality has led to my leadership driven work experiences with ALDI and Amazon. I also think this has led me to become a leader on Clemson's campus. I served as the Management Representative on the College of Business Student Advisory Board, President of the Management Student Advisory Board, and was on two different leadership committees within the Clemson College of Business. I also started the Clemson Marketing Club to prepare students for the workforce and assist local nonprofits and small businesses with free marketing.
